A March 1995 model from Canon's Sure Shot Series, the Sure Shot Z70W / Prima Super 28 was a compact camera with fully automatic autofocus and a zoom lens. Some versions had CAPTION imprinting capability. There was no Japanese edition, as this was a cut-down version of the Autoboy Luna.
The lens has a nice door which flicks open with the push of a button on the front and powers up the camera. And a sliding button closes it again. It feels like a quality piece, and it’s lovely to hold. It’s not light at around 350g. But for me the obsession with lightness doesn’t interest me.

Last month I used a Canon point-and-shoot that seldom makes headlines. The Canon Sure Shot Tele is big and old and clunky, at least in outward appearance, but it’s a serious sleeper. A camera that does things that many other point-and-shoots can’t. It has two prime lenses (one of which includes a fast f/2.8 aperture), a mechanically Dramatic, inspiring, wide-angle shots and intimate close-ups. Now you can have it all with Canon's affordable Sure Shot 80 Tele -- camera so compact, so lightweight, you can take it anywhere. Capture a breathtaking landscape or create a romantic portrait. A touch of a button lets you go from 38mm wide-angle to 80mm telehoto in the blink of an eye.
For these, the Canon Prima Zoom 76 will be a lovely toy. With a zoom lens ranging from 38mm to 76mm and a variable aperture of F/4.2-F/7.8, it’s not a lens for those sooting in low light without flash.
The Sure Shot 105 Zoom delivers advanced 3x zoom capability at a size and price you would expect from a 2x model. Add crystal clear optical and autofocusing technology, auto flash with red-eye reduction, self timer, fully automatic film loading and maximum ease of use, and you've got a winner in your hands. cuKw4z2.
