No it is not the same!!! The 230/235 has the charging port on the right, looking from the front. The 620 seems to have it on the left. Looking at the 235 from the back, so that the charging contacts are on the right hand side, the writing is upside down. On the 620 it is right side up.
My Garmin 235 suddenly went dead. It went to a screen that only read “Garmin”. I turned it off using the light button. Now it will not come back on. I have tried all of the suggestions of holding it for 2 seconds, 20 seconds, holding with the other buttons as seen on so many suggested videos, and still nothing. It’s just completely black.

Plugged, and unplugged, and it showed that it was charging. Woke up, and it had not been charging. Made it through my run with ~35% and tried plugging it into my laptop. This time, it froze and the time set itself back an hour and X minutes (weird? Not even a full hour). I attempted a Factory Restore Settings to no avail. 4aJlt.
